Hi, we are Collin and Elizabeth, but most people know us by our trail names…

We were raised in the Midwest and met at the University of Iowa. After college, we thru-hiked the 2,183.5-mile Appalachian Trail and then settled down in Portland, Maine. There we sea kayaked, hiked, and learned to climb in the Whites Mountains of New Hampshire. After completing the AMC 48 4,000 footers, the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, and many other outdoor pursuits we felt the need to find new adventure and therefore moved to Seattle, Washington in 2017.
Washington is where we now reside, play, and raise our one newborn son, Bridger Teton. We spend all our free time in pursuit of the outdoors, primarily climbing the Pacific Northwest’s highest peaks. In 2018, we were fortunate to be able to thru-hike the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail after Collin had recovered from a climbing injury.
In 2019 we were married on the summit of the Grand Teton.
The Triple Crown was earned in 2021 when we thru-hiked the 2,752-mile Continental Divide Trail.
Collin is a full-time videographer/editor and photographer who tries to get into the mountains every week of the year. Liz works for a small eCommerce startup as a leader in Corporate Sales. We are new parents navigating life with our beautiful son - hoping to teach him a deep love and appreciation for nature. Aside from our outdoor pursuits, we love spending time with our family and friends, going to breweries, and Elizabeth is a masterful cook who loves spending time in the kitchen. ✌️❤️🏔
